Mashrabiya Mist is an alternative cooling system for the home that incorporates a misting system in the window frame with a mashrabiya that shades the house.

The mashrabiya has two layers- one of them is still and the other revolves on an external rail. The rotation of the masrabiya creates a surprising and chraming change in its pattern, also changing the amount of light penetrating accordingly.

Mashrabiya Mist draws inspiration from ancient architectural solutions and proposes a new and designed vision for a home cooling system incorporated with its environment.
